I am Vanessa Sarmiento, an immigration and human rights advocate and the creator of LINGO.
Over a decade ago, I entered the U.S. legal landscape as a Colombian lawyer and monolingual Spanish speaker, full of determination and an unwavering curiosity for learning. Since then, I’ve built a career centered on legal services administration, program design, and strategic planning.
